The Plain Local Instrumental Music Patrons Association, Inc. (PLIMPA)


PLIMPA Is the parent booster organization that supports band and strings in grades 5-12. The parents involved in PLIMPA help to provide support to the instrumental programs in the Plain Local Schools. PLIMPA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.


Monthly general meetings generally occur on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the high school band room and are open to band/string parents, family, and the general public. General meetings usually last 20-30 minutes. The PLIMPA Board of Trustees is comprised of the following elected board members and meets monthly from 6:30-7:30 PM. The PLIMPA Board is responsible for the business affairs of the organization.

Each year PLIMPA helps the instrumental students in Plain Local Schools by organizing the following projects:

Chaperoning for events such as games, band shows, band camp, OMEA performances
